Warranty Wallet privacy policy

Effective date: 2 November 2026

Who is responsible

Warranty Wallet is provided by Mlabs, MB (company code 307689679), a software company in the EU. Privacy requests and support messages can be sent to info@10k.live.

Purchase records and receipts

The app saves purchase names and icons, dates, return windows, warranty ends, stores, rooms, serial numbers, notes, terms, reminder choices and earlier purchase versions. It keeps receipt photos and selected PDF or text attachments in private storage alongside those records. General app settings are saved on the device as well.

A receipt may show your name, address, payment-card digits or other details printed by a shop. Warranty Wallet does not send these documents to Mlabs, extract them using an online recognition service, or use them for advertising. There is no app account, publisher-hosted receipt archive, automatic synchronization, analytics or crash-report upload. No advertising ID is used.

Local snapshots and earlier purchase versions help preserve the record of changes. Moving a purchase to Done or marking it returned retains that record; those actions are not deletion.

Adding a photo or file

Taking a receipt photo opens your phone's camera application when you choose that action. The returned image is reduced to at most 1600 pixels on its longer side and saved as a receipt copy. The app does not run the camera continuously or record audio.

Choosing a receipt or backup opens Android's file picker and reads the file you select. That picker can expose local or cloud files, with access controlled by the selected provider. The reviewed app does not request CAMERA, broad photo/video-library or unrestricted storage permission; using a system camera or selected-file action is different from having those grants.

Reminder notifications

Warranty Wallet asks for notification permission where Android requires it when reminders are first needed, including when you first save a purchase with its default reminders enabled. A refusal leaves your purchase records and receipts available. Reminders are scheduled locally as inexact notifications; the app does not request exact-alarm or full-screen-intent access.

Warranty Wallet requests permission to show notifications, vibrate for them and re-schedule reminders after the phone restarts. An AndroidX signature permission protects internal receivers. Notification vibration follows channel and device settings. Purchase names and deadlines may appear in a notification or on the lock screen, according to your Android privacy settings. No reminder is sent to our servers.

Copies and Android backup

You can save a JSON backup containing the records and attached receipts, copy backup text, save an individual receipt, or export the current purchase fields as CSV, without earlier versions or receipt bytes. Restore validates a selected or pasted backup and asks before replacing local information. The JSON backup omits separate app settings. These exports are not encrypted by Warranty Wallet. Pick destinations suitable for sensitive receipt contents.

Android's automatic backup or device-transfer service may also copy eligible records, preferences and receipt files. Its quotas and system settings limit what is included; a large receipt collection is not guaranteed to restore. This is a service of Android and your backup account, which Mlabs cannot access.

Warranty Wallet does not request Android's internet permission, so it cannot make network connections of its own. A privacy, website or support link opens your browser or email app, which handles its own connection without any app data being attached.

Retention and removal

Information stays in local records and history until removed through an offered app action, replaced by restore, or removed with Android's app storage. Earlier versions and recovery snapshots can retain attachments or details after an edit; removing a current attachment does not erase receipt bytes held in earlier versions. Clear Warranty Wallet's storage or uninstall it for complete local removal. Backups, exported receipts, CSV files and system copies require separate deletion.

Emails you send to info@10k.live are received by us with their sender address and chosen attachments. We use them for support or your privacy request, retaining them as needed to resolve the matter or meet a legal duty. Please do not send an unredacted receipt unless necessary.

Younger users, rights and changes

Warranty Wallet is designed for older teenagers and adults managing purchases. It is not directed at young children and does not collect ages or build advertising profiles.

Applicable rights over data we hold can include access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Send requests to info@10k.live; local receipt files are managed on your device because we have no remote copy. You may complain to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work, or where you believe the infringement happened, or to our lead authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate.

We will reflect future changes to Warranty Wallet's handling on this page and update the effective date. Contact info@10k.live if any part needs explanation.
