Row Keeper privacy policy

Effective date: 2 November 2026

Who operates the app

Row Keeper's publisher is Mlabs, MB (company code 307689679), a software company in the EU. We can be reached at info@10k.live.

Your craft projects

Row Keeper stores projects, craft and yarn choices, row and repeat counters, linked-counter settings, counts, tap and undo history, milestone notes and archived state. The tap journal keeps the 1,000 most recently active presses and their retained undo entries; milestones remain. Language and appearance preferences are local settings. Saved project documents and recovery copies live in the app's private storage on the phone.

We do not receive project titles, knitting activity or notes. No Row Keeper account, remote project store or automatic synchronization exists. The app has no advertising SDK, advertising-identifier access, analytics or automatic diagnostic-upload feature. Counter feedback does not listen through a microphone or read contacts.

Exporting your own work

The backup screen lets you save a JSON file using Android's file picker or copy backup text to the clipboard. To restore, choose a backup file or paste its text, inspect the result and confirm replacement. The file picker gives access to the file or destination you select, rather than your entire storage.

Backups can contain project names, notes and retained history, but omit separate app settings. Row Keeper adds no encryption to them. A cloud-storage destination, message or clipboard manager you choose may keep another copy according to its own rules. There is no in-app social feed or automatic project sharing.

Backup provided by Android

Your device may copy eligible app documents and preferences to its backup account or transfer them to a replacement device. Android settings, quotas and restore conditions determine coverage; it is not a project-recovery service run by us. Manage or remove those backups using Android and your backup provider.

Retention and removal

Projects and notes are kept for your continuing use. Archive keeps a project and its history; it does not erase them. Use Delete where offered, or clear Row Keeper's storage in Android or uninstall it to remove the whole local collection and preferences. Rotating recovery documents can retain earlier saved content. Files exported by you, clipboard text and Android backups must be deleted separately.

A support conversation is different from a project file: if you write to info@10k.live, we receive the email address, message and any attachment you send. We keep it for responding and resolving the issue, and for any retention required by law. Avoid attaching private project notes unless they are needed for the request.

Younger crafters and your choices

Row Keeper is aimed at teenage and adult crafters. Its yarn drawing and repeat celebration do not introduce a child account or tracking system. The service is not directed at young children, and we do not ask users to state their age.

Applicable data-protection rights include requesting access, correction, erasure, portability, restriction or objection. Direct requests concerning our correspondence to info@10k.live; projects we have never received remain under your device controls. You may bring a complaint to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work, or where you believe the infringement happened, or to our lead authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate.

Updates and questions

We will date any replacement version of this policy when it is published at this address. The same mailbox, info@10k.live, handles questions about Row Keeper's privacy and support.
