Plant Pulse privacy policy

Effective date: 2 November 2026

Our identity

Plant Pulse is an app from Mlabs, MB (company code 307689679), a software company in the EU. The mailbox for both support and privacy enquiries is info@10k.live.

Your plant journal

Plant Pulse records the plants and rooms you create, selected drawings, watering and feeding intervals, pauses and snoozes, care you log, notes and archived status. Journal snapshots can preserve the plant/room names and schedule rules that applied at the time. It also remembers language, appearance and other app settings.

The saved journal and its recovery files remain in private storage on your phone. Choosing a plant picture selects artwork bundled with the app; it does not read a photo library or take a photograph. Care schedules are your entries, not information obtained from an online identification or advice service.

There is no Plant Pulse account, remote plant database or automatic sync. We do not receive your notes or care activity. The app includes no advertising, advertising-ID access, analytics or automatic crash-report upload.

The copies you make

Backup and export controls let you save a JSON backup, copy its text, or save/copy the journal as CSV. A backup can include historical names and notes, but not separate app settings. Plant Pulse does not encrypt these files or clipboard copies. If you place one in a cloud folder or send it elsewhere, that provider's rules apply.

A chosen backup file or pasted text is checked and previewed before you confirm replacement. Android's document picker restricts the file action to what you select; it does not give the app unrestricted storage access.

Android may independently include eligible saved documents and preferences in automatic backup or new-phone transfer. Coverage and restoration depend on your phone, backup settings and system limits. Manage those system copies through Android or the backup account; Mlabs cannot retrieve them.

Keeping and deleting entries

Archiving a plant or room preserves journal history so you can revisit it. Local data remains until removed through an available action, replaced by restore, cleared through Android's app-storage controls or removed by uninstalling. Recovery documents can temporarily hold an earlier saved version. Delete exported files, pasted copies and Android backups separately if you no longer need them.

Contacting info@10k.live supplies us with your email address, message and attachments you choose. We use that correspondence to respond to the request, and retain it while needed for that purpose or an applicable legal requirement. Sending an email does not give us continuing access to the journal.

Children and personal information

Plant Pulse is intended for teenage and adult houseplant owners rather than young children. It has no child profile, birth-date request or tracking/advertising system. A family using it with a younger person controls that device's files and backup settings.

Where applicable, you can ask about access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing of information held by us. Use info@10k.live for such requests. Data kept only on your phone must be managed there. You may make a complaint to the data protection authority in the EU country where you live or work, or where you believe the infringement happened, or to our lead authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate.

Updating this policy

When Plant Pulse's privacy practices change, we will publish a revised notice here with its publication effective date. We welcome questions about it at info@10k.live.
